Itty Bit Update

The kitten that I am hand-raising will be two weeks old tomorrow. She has grown from less than 4 ounces to 10 ounces in weight. She's such a sweet, beautiful kitten. Despite challenges of occasional constipation (the kitten, not me), she's doing fairly well.

I love this kitten so much. I worry (not productive, I know) when she doesn't poop for a day or two and when her appetite diminishes. As with all things in life, there are lessons to be learned in this. I am learning to trust the process at a whole new level. It's one thing to be able to trust the process for myself, but to trust it for a helpless, innocent loved one is a new lesson for me.

This is a normal progression. We learn to apply lessons to specific, personal situations, and then over time, discover how to apply them in a more general way. Ultimately, all of the individual lessons will expand and merge into a single comprehensive, enlightened understanding.
