Moving right along

It's been a while since I've posted (no big surprise there!), so I figured I'd write.

The kitten is coming along. She's now litterbox trained (praise the gods), and she is now interested in canned and solid cat food. She can climb a little, jump a little and run like the dickens. For a little tyke, I'm amazed at how fast she can move. I don't miss helping her poop or the midnight feedings. I'm just happy that she's healthy and doing well. What really boggles the mind is the hard-wired instinct that just automatically kicks in when the time is right. Amazing stuff!

I'm rounding the corner of what I hope is the final draft of my manuscript. I feel good about it. In a couple of weeks, I'm getting professional portraits for publicity. Soon, I'll be looking for an agent to get me a publishing deal. I will also be booking speaking engagements to build my career as an inspirational speaker.

I realize all of that sounds so "entrepreneurial", so "business-like", and that's not me. And yet, I suppose these are what one needs to do to help change the world; to teach people that there is a better way of being. It's not about fame or money. It's about helping people find peace in their lives. And as long as I'm having fun doing it, why not?
